16 servo Sheild

by lear2201 on Mon Nov 20, 2017 10:46 pm

I just received my Adafruit 16-channel PWM/Servo Shield but it wont work.

There is no link between the digital input and the PWM output (relative to
the board). I can't use any servo, but it work if I jump exemple Digital I/O
3 into PWM 3.

Is it normal, if not can I have an other one?

From the photos, your soldering needs work. Many of the joints appear solder-starved and have not flowed well onto the solder pads. Please read through this guide:\

Not sure what link you are expecting. Communication with the board is entirely via i2c. All of the digital pins are free for other uses.

Please read through the guide for the board and install the PWM/Servo library.
