I recently bought a pair of the PowerBoost 500 Shield with the Lithium Ion Polymer Battery - 3.7v 1200mAh for middle school kids looking to use it to power an Arduino temp/humidity monitor project. I didnt really read the fine print on the Powerboost - seems it requires soldering ? Is there another which does not require soldering?
Also we are having issues getting one of the Lithium Ion Polymer Batteries to charge. Looks to be an issue with the Shield itself. If we connect that same battery to the other shiled we bought, it charges ok. Please advise.

Re: Question about PowerBoost 500 Shield
Hello
I'd like to resolve the issue of the faulty PowerBoost shield ( the one not charging the battery). Our school project is on hold. Hoping to resolve and get a working shield. Thx.
