Can I use a servo 3 port brick on a motor shield for ultraso

Post by MNHockeyDad »

Sorry, can't find this question answered anywhere.

I have a motor shield + 16 servo bricks.
I want to know if I can use one (or 3) of the servo bricks to feed input from ultrasonic sensor(s) down to arduino?

Seems like I should be able to, and no, I haven't just tried it, I suppose I should, but I'm designing.

Thanks

Not sure what you mean by "servo brick". If you are referring to the 16 channel PWM Servo Shield or PWM Servo Breakout, these are output only devices. They do not have input capability.
