2.8" TFT Touch Shield for Arduino with Resistive Touch

Post by aimidalila »

Hi,

I purchase a shield as stated in the title above. I connect to my Arduino Mega 2560. So, I did solder the ICSP jumper and cut the 11,12,13 wire. The display is working, but the touch is not working. What should I do then?

If no one has a better suggestion, I would try re-connecting wires 11,12,13 by soldering the cut ends back together. I made the same mistake once and had to reconnect them to get things to work ( can't recall if it broke the touch ).

Fantastic! My TFT now can detect touch. Thanks a lot!
