Stepper and Servo with different Voltage on 1 shield

by bierima on Tue Dec 04, 2018 1:06 pm

I'd like to run 1 stepper and 1 servo motor with a Adafruit Motor/Stepper/Servo Shield for Arduino v2 Kit - v2.3.
The servo needs 6V and the stepper 12V. Is this possible, with just one shield?
Can I connect two different power supplies (once 6V and once 12V) to the shield?
Or what do I need to do, to run this setup?

Servo power is separate from stepper motor power. By default, the servos draw 5v from the Arduino.

Power for DC or Stepper motors can be supplied via the screw-terminal block on the edge of the board.
