tag readability of PN532 NFC/RFID controller

Post by goodguyevan »

Hey guys! I am new to the Arduino and adafruit and I am starting an RFID project. I want to design some passive tags and active tags from scratch and I am wondering if PN532 NFC/RFID controller can read tags that are not designed by adafruit.

And comments would be appreciated!

Absolutely. The PN532 uses standard protocols to interact with tags so should be able to read/write any tag that conforms to NFC standards.
