How to access unused pins with the 2.8in TFT shield w/capaci

by jasonthenderson on Tue Nov 03, 2020 1:43 am

Hello, is there anyway to access the unused pins on an Arduino Uno when the 2.8 TFT shield w/capacitive touch is installed? I understand I could install a proto shield in between the TFT shield and the arduino, but I don't want to use up that vertical space (I want it all to fit into a smaller enclosure). are there any pads or solder points on the TFT shield that I could run my wire to? I just need a single digital pin as well as power and ground...

Thanks!

Look at the base of the pins on the cap screen. They all have tiny little feet. I use those to connect stuff to them. Use 30 awg silicon wire and solder them on.
