Hi. We are trying to use an ultrasonic rangefinder to cue audio playback with the Music Maker shield on top of an Uno.
For the HC-SR04 ultasonic sensor, I need power, GND, TX and RX. I know that the Music Maker is using pins 13, 12, 11, 7, 6, 4, and 3. And so my guess is that I can just choose any other two pins on the Music Maker -- like 8 and 9-- and solder my sensor I/O to them, and power the sensor by soldering to GND and 5V pins on the Music Maker.
This seems clear, but I'd love confirmation before melting any solder.
Thanks much!

Yes. Any of the unused pins can be utilized to interface with the HC-SR04.
