Powering Arduino from Motor Shield

Post by roseen »

I have an Arduno Uno and an Adafruit Motor Shield V2.
I intend to power the shield from a 12V power supply, connected to the screw terminals.

Can I power the Arduino from the shield, by simply leaving the power jumper connected (the one that normally would allow to power the shield from the Arduino)?

Yes. You can power it that way.
