I have a project to do with two stepper motors and one servo.
I would like to confirm that I understand well the issue of applying voltage to these devices.
Is the servo powered directly from the board ( ~ 5V)?
My stepper motors ( ~ 12V) need a separate power supply?
OR
I need a servo and stepper motors with identical voltage ( ~ 5V)?
Sorry for my banal questions. Best regards!

Re: Motor Shield - stepper and servo - voltage
Servo power comes directly from the Arduino 5v rail.
Stepper motor power can come from either the Arduino VIN pin (via the VIN Jumper) or via the power terminal block.
Before powering up your stepper motors, be sure that they are compatible. The #324 motors in the store work well with the shield. But there are many motors out there that are not compatible and can create overload conditions which damage the driver chips on the shield.
This guide explains how to determine if your motors are a good match for the shield. https://learn.adafruit.com/all-about-st ... he-stepper
If you are not sure, please post a link to the full electrical specs for you motors and we will take a look.

Thanks a lot for your quick reply! I know everything now :).
These are the engines I was going to buy.
Greetings!
