What shield should I purchase if I want to read MiFare Desfire and MiFare Ultralight - C?

Our PN532 Shield (http://www.adafruit.com/products/789) should be able to communicate with the cards (they're both Type-A devices) but I don't know if an Arduino has enough processing resources to handle AES or triple-DES encryption.

Our code provides basic communication at the signal level. The data representation, formatting, and encryption layers are separate issues we don't support.
