Got my motor shield working this morning.
The stepper is out of a flatbed scanner,
the servo is a Futaba S3003,
and the motor is borrowed from my son's electronics
experiment kit.

One thing I had to tweak was the min and max pulsewidth settings in the
servo control code. The defaults out of the box would drive my servo against
the hard stop when I set it to 180degrees.
