Capacitor substitution...

by jexter on Sun Mar 09, 2008 12:13 am

Hi All,

I received my motor shield kit this week, and have already managed to lose one of the 0.1uF capacitors. I've got some others that are around 500pF, and some that are blue and say "101/J1A". I'm guessing these are 0.1uF? I considered soldering in 2 of the 500pF guys in parallel, but thought I'd check first and see if that's necessary, or if I go with the blue ones, should all 3 be the same...

Thanks!

if you're missing one its probably OK to do without it.

I am spinning and reversing, stepping, and even back-stepping.
Thanks, Ladyada!
