arduino serving data

by fredler on Tue Mar 18, 2008 6:25 am

hi all
what would be the best way of going about getting the arduino to _serve_ data (i.e. not just request data from remote websites). i can't seem to find out how the xport would pass a request on to the serial port so that it could forumlate its response.

i'd like to be able to GET dynamic responses from the arduino, maybe even have 2 communicating with each other across the network. but is this going to require me to build my own header parser?

the java server is not really appropriate because all i want to serve is text.

thanks for any pointers.

if you wanted a webserver, yes you'd need to parse the header to see what the GET req is
