Servo Pin Hijacking

by 100mph on Fri Apr 04, 2008 3:38 pm

I'm currently using M1/ M2 and M3/M4 to run stepper motors on the motorshield. I want to use the servo pins on the motor shield for different inputs. Will I have to "comment out" servo code in the AFMotor.h or the AFMotor.cpp code to allow me to do this, or are the pins (2, 9, 10) just "empty" and I can simply go ahead and define them and inputs in my program.

I don't want to have conflicts.
Thanks,

mg

theres no servocode in AFmotor library, so if you are not using servos, the pins are not used.
