servo_2 problem

by gekko on Thu May 08, 2008 9:52 am

I recently bought the motor shield from adafruit and two servos from another site. I have soldered the shield together and hooked everything up correctly i believe.

The SER1 line runs almost perfectly(smooth and accurately) however my SERVO_2 line does not ( many "jitters" and seldomly accurate).

I have swapped the servos a few times and can confirm it is not a problem with the servo itself. The servos are Hitec HS-332HD's. I have been using usb power for the arduino and the dc adapter for the motor board. I have also been using the sample servo code supplied on the motor shield tutorial page on ladyada.net .

thanks in advance for any help!

ty for the help!

I'm not really sure what I did or what happend but it seems to be working now. If i had to guess i would say it was a short between the motor board and another board that I was stacking it with or a power problem.
