GPS shield kit: "parts" v. "solder it" S

Post by jexter »

Just got my GPS shield kit - weeeee!!! The parts list matched up so I commenced a'solderin', and encountered a bit of a shnag:

Parts list
1k resistors : R1, R2 R7, R11
10k resistors: R2, R4
4.7k resistors: R3, R5, R6

Solder it! list
1k resistors: R1, R2, R7, R11
10k resistors: R4, R9, R10
4.7k resistors: R3, R5, R6, R8

I'm going to guess that the Solder it! list is correct because it's internally consistent, but I will bide my time enjoying an Altoid or two before I apply more heat, and pray for divine guidance from her ladyadaship.

O.K.., I looked at the schematic...

...and the resister values match the "Solder it!" list, so I'll go with that.

I had another 4.7k resistor handy so it didn't slow me down, but you might check your remaining kits...
