Pin Reassignment for Wave Shield

by the_boy on Mon Aug 04, 2008 1:01 am

Let me start of the wave shield is great bit of engineering. I have been looking for a way to add sound to Halloween projects and the wave shield is definitely the most elegant and inexpensive way I have found.

Now for the questions. The solder instructions mentions that reassignment of digital pins 2-5, 10 is possible. I would like to use the interrupts on pins 2 and 3 to trigger my Halloween prop so using other pins for the wave shield is beneficial.

Where do the pin reassignments need to be changed in the code. I see that in the examples these pins are setup in void setup(). It seems likely that changes also need to be made elsewhere in the libraries. After picking through the library it isn't quite clear to me where that is.

Where do the pin assignments need to be changed in the library?

Thanks in advance....

they're in the wave library files themselves. because of the speed required, they are referenced by their avr pin names (not arduino pin names)
its all in "dac.h"
