motion sensor to control dc motor on motor shield

by Catherine233 on Tue Sep 09, 2008 7:14 pm

Hi,
I am trying to control a motor with a motion sensor but having trouble with the code, mainly just declaring the inputs and outputs.
any help would be appreciated!

I basically want the motor to run a sequence when the motion sensor is on and stop when it is off. All the tutorials i have looked at with motion sensors use 'pinmode' does that apply when the output is on the motor shield? sorry if this is a dumb question I'm still new to programming. Thankyou

i think you should back up and get the motor working
and the sensor working seperately since your question is more about arduino than a tech support questions regarding the motor shield...
