Fuzebox & XBee?

Post by WaxyChicken »

i just saw the video on the Fuzebox website. a "Almost the same thing" example of what the Fuzebox is.

I think it's a sweet start to get people thinking about REAL open source gaming systems.
I'm money tight so it'll be a while before i can buy one to tinker with it, but what I'm wondering is....
Can the FuzeBox and the XBee be connected? or can there be some other way to network the FuzeBox?

you could essentially come up with something like a Networked 8bit Nintendo LOL

I was just wondering if anyone tried networking the FuzeBox yet.

Thanks.

I don't think this has been done before.
Hardware wise, it should not be too hard to do, but you'll have to write a networking support in the firmware =)

(F)Uzebox looks like a really great system, with good potential (The community seems to grow every day.)
I'm actually waiting for mine to come (Waiting for Adafruit to have a Starter Kit stock back so mine can be send.)
I'll try to do some old-school RPG when my coding gets better :)
