Alarm not working on Solder:Time Clock

by buggybean314 on Fri Jan 04, 2019 1:13 pm

I recently received the Solder:Time Desk Clock as a gift on December 30th, and after assembling it I found that the alarm buzzer is not working. The product support page linked on the product page appears to have been taken down, as the link gives this error: "Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Call to undefined function mysql_connect() in /homepages/33/d276830597/htdocs/forum/includes/db/mysql.php:47 Stack trace: #0 /homepages/33/d276830597/htdocs/forum/common.php(108): dbal_mysql->sql_connect('db475565105.db....', 'dbo475565105', 'nf194758J13', 'db475565105', '3306', false, false) #1 /homepages/33/d276830597/htdocs/forum/index.php(20): include('/homepages/33/d...') #2 {main} thrown in /homepages/33/d276830597/htdocs/forum/includes/db/mysql.php on line 47". While the alarm clock sound does not work, in the clock's "worm" mode, sound is produced by the piezo buzzer with no apparent issues. I have tested the alarm with both the checkmark and the "X" displayed on the alarm on/off screen, and it has not gone off with either selected; the buzzer does not make noise and the clock screen stays the same. I believe this is most likely a user error. Thank you for your time.
