PiRTC 3386 - pins

Post by FunkyFrankie »

I ordered a PiRTC 3386 and I need to use it with a TI Tiva C board, but the problem is that the pins are not marked, so I don't know how to connect. Could you please help me find GND, VCC, SDA and SCL.
Thanks for help

The pinout is the same as the first 6 pins on the PI GPIO header:

Ok, thanks. Is it enough if I connect only the 3.3V pin or I have to connect both of 5V too? Is there any particular difference in using 3386 from using 3295?
Are there any pullup resistors included or I have to add some?

You don't need 5V, and you don't need pullups.
No real difference between the two. Just form-factor and convenience

I have a relay board that needs 5v, along with an RTC for timing of the relay. Would the 3386 be damaged if a male to female jumper was inserted into the top of the board to make contact with the 5v. Would a stacking header like 2223 make more sense? Though I am fairly sure my case wouldn't clear the 3386 if I used a stacking header.
