Question about Ice Tube Vacuum Fluorescent Clock case

by Knightmare on Tue Aug 25, 2009 9:01 am

I just purchased this kit and can't wait to get it. I also have a nixie tube clock that I built and I think these would look great next to each other.

Now I need to make a case for my nixie clock that is similar to the ice tube clock. My question is this.

I assume when designing this, the pieces were layed out connected and then the grooves/extrusions were added. If you lay out a square and then draw a line down the center with pegs and grooves, will the width of the laser be enough tolerance for everything to fit together nicely? I hope this makes sense.

Thanks for any help you can give.
