Very cool steel/ipe clock case. My heart skipped a beat when I saw the pic of the clock in the Simpson VOM case until I saw it was inoperative. A nice way to use it.

Done for a college project, it's my multi-purpose clock! Using NeoPixels and the Adafruit NeoPixel library. The initial clock position code was found on the Learning system (I had no clue the useful function "map()" existed, awesome!).

The clock also displays animations, dances to music, can be dimmed, and is controlled via remote control. Built in animations such as fire, rainbow, or "guess the clock position" game, which randomly lights an LED after a glittering effect. You can see brief animations and concept videos of it on my YouTube Channel. :) https://www.youtube.com/user/SeiRruf/videos

"Steam Punk" style clock using a modified version of the "Trinket Meter Clock". Added the softservo library, and wired up a servo on pin 3 to move the pendulum. Added yellow LED's for a more aged look on the meters.

Hi all,

Today I pushed my Monochron project Emuchron v1.2 to github at https://github.com/tceulema/Emuchron.
Next to the usual slew of bugfixes, enhancements and refinements four new clocks are added (making a total of 17). Two of these are nifty QR clocks.

Both QR clocks encode, along the day, date and year, also the current time. However, whereas one QR clock encodes the time in format HH:MM, meaning that the QR is updated once a minute, the other encodes the time in format HH:MM:SS, meaning that a new QR is displayed every second. And there’s also a hardcoded Easter egg on April 1st.
Obtaining the date and time could not be made easier: simply use your favorite smartphone QReader app.

The QR clocks are embedded in the Emuchron clock plugin framework. The QR encode functionality is making use of Tz/BANNED’s project qrduino at https://github.com/tz1/qrduino.

Please find below a picture of my Monochron/Emuchron QR clock, in this case the HH:MM:SS flavor.

Hello,

I built my Ice tube clock about a year ago. However, the IV-18 tube broke when the side of the acrylic housing got loose and somehow got pushed against the end of the tube. I was lucky to buy a replacement from Adafruit (while it lasted). I finally got back repairing it a couple of days ago. This is when I decide to make a sort of 'steampunk' version of the clock and incorporated it on an old oscillator board that has some unique vacuum tube in it. I placed a bright LED to make it glow. Now I am considering adding some more tubes on the base ... here is a preview...

My son built the Monochron Clock and decided the black case needed to be a transparent green one ($28 from Pololu). Now I get to order the internals to build another Monochron clock for his best friend. Good times!

I work for u-blox and integrated our GPS module (PAM-7Q) into the clock. As you see, I kept the u-blox logo/label very visible.

Well, I didn't take a picture, I took over 1100 - while putting it together. Here's the time lapse: https://youtu.be/pqpeun6zNH0
