Another difference appears to be the operating temperature range of the DS3231.
DS3231 Breakout (#3013) uses a DS3231S (commercial) and the Chronodot (#255) uses a DS3231SN (industrial).

In terms of accuracy, no. They are both breakouts for the same DS3231 RTC. So the differences are minor:
- Shape
- Battery
- Chronodot does not have I2C pullup resistors
