Ice Tube Clock Case Part Available

Post by mattcarp »

I built the ice tube clock with my daughter a few years ago - she loves it.

At some point, one of the case acrylic side pieces cracked and broke in half. Adafruit no longer had any spare parts, so I had a replacement piece laser cut.

I only needed one, but the minimum order was 12! So, I have extra.

I have the right side, which is the one without the hole for the tube.

If you need a replacement, contact me. $7 / free shipping to US addresses.

Matt,

Today, I knocked my Ice Tube Clock off the shelf and broke the case acrylic side piece. Amazingly, neither the electronics or the VFD were damaged.

Unfortunately, the side I broke is the one with the hole. However, I should be able to drill the hole for the VFD.

I'd like to purchase one of your spare pieces - I'm in the US.

Hi Don! I'm sorry to hear that. I don't see a way to direct message you through this forum, but just PayPal me at matt.carp at mac.com. (substitute the "at" with @ and no spaces), and I'll get it out to you right away.

Thanks - I will do that. I'd like 2-pieces, if that's okay.
