New Monochron came with dali clock not RATT

So everything on the site implies the clock comes preprogrammed with the table tennis display
I boot mine up and get Dali (I think)

What's the deal?

Mine came with dali as well. I think they change the default pre-programmed clock with each batch. All the programs are available for download if you want to change. The "Multichron" version has several clocks merged into one.

Mine came with Dalichron, while I wanted Pong, but no big deal, I just downloaded the appropriate firmware & flashed it on. Is it still the recommended approach to download off the forum link, since the .hex file is dated August 20th while the forum link is from the 5th?

the first chron was RATT but now we have many others you can try out!
so while we are shipping with different clocks burned in
they now come with a programming dongle so you can choose which clock you want
