Panelizing in Eagle Question

by jasontraud on Tue Sep 01, 2015 5:03 pm

I'm not entirely certain this is in the appropriate forum, but...

I had purchased some small SMT breakouts from Adafruit a little bit ago (PID: 1212) and liked how they were paneled (combination of v-score and tabs).

My question is: How were the slots specified in Eagle? After the panelinzing script was run, were the slots simply just drawn as 50mil traces on the drill layer or dimension layers?

I just draw them as lines on the milling layer and include that as a separate Gerber file:

The notes are there to make things as easy as possible for the people at the board house.

When you submit the board for a quote, there will be some way to specify scoring as a fabrication option. The details will depend on the board house you use.
