Hot Air Soldering Rework Stations

by smacias on Wed May 08, 2019 4:10 pm

Hello. The 861DW and 957DW+ pages say they have an intelligent cooling system, so the airflow remains on until it gets to below 100°C. The temperature range for this product is 100-500C.
Is there a way to use these below 100C? Does Adafruit have a version of this product that can go below 100C?

Adafruit has nothing in that range as I know of no solder that melts at that range. What is it you trying to accomplish?

Thanks. We're wanting to use it for specialized wax work (not soldering). We were looking for something just below the 100C temperature range.
