Hi -
I just purchased an
"Adjustable 60W Pen-Style Soldering Iron - 120VAC USA Plug - BEST 102C
PRODUCT ID: 3685"
When I plug it in and switch On, It appears to power up (LEDs light up), but the iron does not get hot - In fact, it does not heat up at all. I have tried adjusting the temperature, but nothing works. I think I have a defective unit - What are my options?
Thanks,
Mike

Have you tried to calibrate? Not much you can do but let me know.

Re: Defective Soldering iron?
Thanks -
To be honest, I do not own a tool that is tiny enough to fit in the opening that leads to the calibration adjustment, so no, I have not.
But it really should not remain totally cold at any calibration setting, don`t you agree?
