DSO Nano V3 failed firmware update Moderators: adafruit_support_bill, adafruit

I attempted to update the firmware on my DSO Nano V3 with firmware from SeeedStudio's site, and now it won't display anything other than the firmware update screen. I've tried every firmware version on their site, several variants from forum threads, and I've compiled the most recent open source version with the NANOV3=1 flag. Nothing works. I'm hoping someone may have the original firmware available, because it's useless at this point.

This is what is displayed:

I do manage to get something other than the firmware update screen if I hold down OK while powering on:

I've reached out to SeeedStudio's support, but based on other forum threads it's unlikely I'll receive a response.

Much to my surprise, I heard back from SeedStudio support. They sent along the original firmware for the device... or at least what they say is the original firmware. I can't say for sure because my scope still doesn't work. I'm posting the file here in case it's of help to someone else.

Here's what happens:
* Copy NANO.V4.33.hex to the USB disk
* Disk disappears
* Disk reappears, file is renamed to NANOV4~1.RDY
* Unplug and power cycle the scope
* Back to the firmware upgrade screen

I've asked SeeedStudio if they have any other firmware available to try. Otherwise I think the device is trashed.
