Wire gauge USB DIY Connector Shell - Type Micro-B Plug

What is the largest gauge wire do you think I can solder to this connector for power and ground? I'd like to minimize voltage sag from a solid 5v supply for a raspberry pi 3 over a 6ft cable.

I think the contacts are spaced at 0.1" or 2mm pitch, and the opening for the cable is about 5mm if you don't use the strain-relief plug.

You'd probably have a hard time fitting anything below 18 gauge into it, and that's iffy.
