weller wp25

Post by rsty »

Ive been looking around for a new iron that will last and is portable. Is the weller wp25 a good iron? I also have the wp30 and wp35 in mind. For the extra ~10 bucks, is it work getting the extra 5-10 watts?

25W is ok, they're good irons so they have nice even heat. only thing to watch for is the tip size, some of the pencil wellers have huge tips and you have to replace them :(
