Hello,
I sent a note to Support and they told me to post here. My order number is 944922-5018208026.
I ordered the Hakko FX-888D back in late November and haven't had a chance to set it up until now. The unit does not power on. The display does not illuminate, and the iron does not heat up.
I have visually checked the cord for damage, none found.
I tried in a different outlet, no effect.
I verified voltage at the power switch using my multimeter.
I verified the fuse is intact and verified resistance across the fuse.
That's about the extent on the work I would like to put in to a brand new solder station. If there are any other quick things you would like me to check, please let me know - otherwise I would like to request a replacement.
