Hi,

I would like to know what would be the maximum current rating for this board Adafruit 16-Channel 12-bit PWM/Servo Driver - I2C interface - PCA9685

I want to drive some high power LEDs (say 20W) and vary the voltage via PWM. I suppose the pwm output from this board would need to be amplified by a H-bridge chip such as L298d in order to meet the higher current rating. Am I correct?

The power output pin is tied directly to the power input on the screw terminal block. See schematic:

so can pass through a fair amount of current. Do you know what your max current will be for your setup?

Never mind.. I realized that I would be needing an LED driver circuit to connect with the PWM output. Thanks anyway.
