16mm Illuminated Pushbutton - White Momentary

by smidget21 on Sun Nov 19, 2017 5:35 am

Need help in wiring and selecting parts to wire the LED portion of these lights to be always on. I have 8 of these buttons, I have the push on connectors for them as well, i just need to know what order to wire and what type of power supply and size as well as how many resistors and size as well. https://www.adafruit.com/product/1479

What is the button controlling? What voltage dos it run on?

The led only needs a few mA to light up, so you can power if from just about any power supply with 3v or more. If you can tell us what voltage things will be running at, we can suggest an appropriate resistor for the LED.

I’m wiring 8 led buttons that separate led wiring and momentary on/off wiring the leds are 3v according to the site.

If you are powering them from 3v, no resistor is necessary.
