Adafruit 2.8" TFT with capacitive touch

Post by ParasN »

Hi

I bought a tft shield(original) a few days back. It was working well with my Arduino uno. Later, I shifted to Arduino mega. I soldered and cut the pins as per the instructions on the official pages of Adafruit. It worked well for a couple of days but then all of a sudden it stopped working and all it shows now is a blank white screen. I have no idea what has gone wrong with it.

I’m attaching the pictures of the tft.

I wish I could get some help to get it back in working condition.

Thanks.

This might sound dumb, but have you tried hitting reset after plugging it in? That's what works for me...

Yes I did. Several times in fact. But it did no good.

Thank you for the clear photos. Your soldering and cut traces look fine. I think this is just a case of premature failure. Please contact [email protected] with a link to this thread for a replacement.
