Trying to Contact Phillip Burgess Guggen Hat

Hello, not sure if I am doing this correctly however I was trying to remake an idea I had a while back using a 12v rgb led strip to make a similar hat to the guggen hat. I found it in the back of my room and decided I would remake it. I stumbled across the guggen hat and have begun working however I am running into a few speed bumps. I am using 144 neopixel strip x 3 432 leds total. Trying to replace the nRF8001 code with code for the 12 pin bluefruit ez link v1.2. Any help would be greatly appreciated I am looking to complete this project within the month.
