RasberryPI DOA

by Digasi on Fri Feb 26, 2016 2:41 pm

We ordered 2 RasberryPi's. One has worked flawlessly, the other with all the same accessories, will not display video and appears to be not working. (2 lights on board, red and green...both solidly lit)

We believe that one is defective, and we would like to have it replaced/exchanged.

ORDER #1023701-8572544757

Please send a response with the RMA process to our email on file. Thanks.

When did you receive the Pi's?

February 24, 2016. We ordered it on the 21st. It shipped promptly, and we paid for 2 day. Got it right on time. :)
Everything was good, but one of the Pi's

OK, have you tried swapping the SD card from the working one to the other? Also use all of the cables so there is no chance one of those is the problem.

We have swapped all accessories. SD Cards. (I have 3 different ones, all work fine in one but not the other.)
We used different Power supplies, and HDMI cables, Keyboards and Mice.
I work in IT, so we've isolated as much as possible, and in the end It's always the Board.
Both are the exact same model of RasberryPi 2 Model B.

Again, I get 2 solid lights. One red one green.
No Activity flicker.
Please let me know what other steps I need to take to get it replaced/swapped out as an RMA DOA.

Sounds like you've done the proper testing. Please send an email to support@adafruit.com with a link to this thread and they will help you with a replacement.
