Rotary encoder
Ground - Thick Black
Index - Green (Not Supported on HKT22)
A Channel - Black
+5V DC - Red
B Channel - White

Here is a Fritzing diagram based on what I could ascertain from his code, and the datasheets for the components he used.

NOTE: This is UNTESTED! Use at your own risk. I do not have the parts to test this.
