Can the USB Mini-B Breakout Board be used as Power Supply?

I am looking for a device that I can plug into the USB on my computer and have 3.3V/5V of voltage supplied by the device. Will this device accomplish that?

Yes. There is a 5v breakout pin on the board. Most USB ports will supply up to 500mA by default.
