Pitft 2.8 cap touch not working-"ADMIN"

Post by cwaa »

Here are the pictures you requested. Why do you want pictures? If its to see if the equipment is genuine, it is. My granddaughter gave me an ADAfruit kit she picked up from a friend. I will not be able to return it as I don't know the vender and I don't expect my granddaughter to try and return it through a friend. So I either get it to work or throw it away. I have the original packaging for the Windows 10 l0t core starter kit. I have two other Pi's, one running the music in my exercise room, and the other controlling two relays on my 3D printer and printer camera. I have some experience with the Pi but none with Adafruit.

While taking these pictures, I noticed that the ribbon cable connecting the screen to the board was not straight with the connector. I removed the cable and re-inserted it into the connector and now I have a working screen. Not tried anything else yet! Thanks!
