5M 5V 2A USB individually addressable LED strip?

by harmy on Thu Feb 13, 2020 10:23 pm

For my project I need a 5M individually addressable RGB LED strip with at least 60 LEDs/meter. I’ll need to run it on battery power, so ideally something with really low amp requirements. I want to use an SP107E Bluetooth music controller with it.

Is there an LED strip that meets these requirements? What options do I have?

I’ll need to run it on battery power, so ideally something with really low amp requirements.

The max per-pixel current requirements for all of the pixel strips are about the same: ~60mA/pixel maximum for RGB. ~80mA for RGBW.
If you are concerned about optimizing power use for battery operation, you should read through this guide: https://learn.adafruit.com/sipping-power-with-neopixels
