Hi,
For Halloween, I'm planning on building a NeoPixel Strip Stick figure suit.
I figure about ~5m of 30/m Neopixel strip would work well.
So, using Adafruit's Neopixel power guide, I'm arriving at the following requirement:
5*30 = 150 -> 150 NeoPixels × 20 mA ÷ 1,000 = 3 Amps minimum.
That's the most Neopixels I've used in a wearable project and I could use some guidance.
Would the following battery "Lithium Ion Battery Pack - 3.7V 6600mAh" (https://www.adafruit.com/product/353#technical-details) work to power this?
Also, could I use this charger (https://www.adafruit.com/product/4410) to charge it?
Any better battery suggestions to power this project?
I have a feeling if I only have one power input point, the strip would fade towards the end. To solve this, is the solution to just have multiple attach points to the same battery in different spots of the strip?
Thanks a lot for any advice. Much appreciated.

Re: NeoPixel Stick Figure Suit power question
The 6600mAh battery is capable of up to 3.3A continuous discharge. The Micro-LiPo charger is capable of charging it. But it will take a while since the charge rate for that charger is 100mA (it can be re-configured to 500mA). If charging speed is an issue, you might want to consider something like this which will do up to 1000mA : https://www.adafruit.com/product/280

It has a lot of practical information regarding efficiently powering neopixel projects - especially wearable projects.

Re: NeoPixel Stick Figure Suit power question
Thank you for the quick and very helpful reply.
After you pointing it out, I found the listed 3.3A continuous discharge of the 6600mAh listed in the Specs.
Is there a way to calculate the continuous discharge of a battery where it's not listed? For example (https://www.adafruit.com/product/328)? Thanks again.
