PiGrrl Zero White Screen to Black Screen

Hey everyone, happy holidays!

I'm most of the way through my PiGrrl Zero build, and I am currently experiencing an issue that I haven't seen posted here. Upon powering up my Pi, the TFT turns white momentarily, and then after a few seconds, quickly wipes to black with the backlight still on. I'm not too sure what this means exactly and I'd love some help. Thanks!

Edit for additional info:

• -The Pi's green light blinks rapidly on startup, exactly how it does on normal boot.

• -When trying the SD card in other machines, the HDMI output doesn't work, giving a static image of noise on-screen.

• -I've currently tried this card in the:

• • -Pi Zero 1.2 (using HDMI and PiTFT)

• • -Pi Zero 1.3 (HDMI)

• • -Pi 2 (HDMI)

• • -Pi 3 (HDMI)

• • -Pi A+ (HDMI)

EDIT 2: Well f*** me, the answer was to just wait for a longer period of time. A little over a minute of power-on and the emulation station pops up.

This was helpful to me, so thanks for posting the update. I'd made a PiGrrl 2 before, so hadn't anticipated a long load time. Phew!
