Raspberry Pi 2 using another SPI device with 2.8 PiTFT simul

by phishstang65 on Tue Jun 13, 2017 9:25 am

I bought a FLIR lepton module and I want to use it at the same time as my Adafruit 2.8 piTFT on a Raspberry Pi 2.

The lepton needs to be hooked up as shown in the image below with SPI and CS.

I do not need touch support, I just want the Adafruit TFT to display an image captured from the Lepton.

The Adafruit how-to on setting up the display shows that both chip selects are used for the display.

How can I hook both of these up simultaneously?

Try using the image for the capacitive touch 2.8" PiTFT. That only uses one chip select
