Can you test whether a specific neopixel is bad?

by jdpville on Sun Jun 18, 2017 2:10 pm

I have a series of flora neopixels in my project that used to all work fine. I have tested continuity, positive and negative connections - all good. Then checked voltage and it was correct. Control circuit from one to the next was good, but pixels don't light past a certain point. Is there a way to test individual pixels to see if they are bad?

You could disconnect the data wire from the previous pixel and put the data directly on Din of the test pixel.

Thanks for the quick response! I'll give that a try.
