Hey,
I purchased the PiTFT 2.8 in and wanted to know what connections are required to get it running with the Pi Zero. Does it operate on 3.3V or 5V?
Are the only other pins required - the hardware SPI pins (SCK, MOSI, MISO, CE0, CE1) as well as GPIO #25 and #24?
I don't want to plug the screen on top of my pi and only wanted to make the minimum number of needed connections. However when I make these connections and run the install, the screen boots up and get stuck on a white screen which as the documentation suggests means I need to check my solder and connections.
Currently these are my solder connections:
-SCK
-MOSI
-MISO
-CE0
-CE1
-3.3V
-5V
-GND
-#24
-#25
I have not soldered the pins for the switches as I don't need to use them

Re: 2.8in PiTFT required voltage and connections
To do something like this, you would want to refer to the schematic:I don't want to plug the screen on top of my pi and only wanted to make the minimum number of needed connections.
