Hello,
I've tried to look this up on the site and youtube but can't seem to figure it out. New to adafruit and more complex LED circuits. I have this wired up:
NeoPixel Jewel - 7 x 5050 RGB LED with Integrated Drivers
Adafruit Pro Trinket LiIon/LiPoly Backpack Add-On
Tactile Switch Buttons (6mm slim) x 20 pack
Lithium Ion Polymer Battery - 3.7v 100mAh
Adafruit Trinket - Mini Microcontroller - 5V
Now this all seems to be woking except for the NeoPixel. If I take the Neopixel off and just add a regular LED it lights up. But the Neo does not.
Do I need to add code to the Trinket for the LED to light?
Thanks for the help. I really appreciate it.

Re: Neopixel Newbie
Yes. Neopixels require a controller to send them commands to light up. See this guide for more details: https://learn.adafruit.com/adafruit-neo ... e/overviewDo I need to add code to the Trinket for the LED to light?
