OLED screen not working properly - order 1564595
Ordered two OLED screens on order 1564595. Used them with Teensy 3.2 in the electronic animated eyes project. Attached are pictures to show that one display has alternating black bands across the display. The display changes a little when I gently manipulate the flexible connector that connects the circuit on the back to the display itself, but does not resolve. Appears to be something to do with that connector. You can see the other display works fine on the same circuit.

Let's try reseating the ribbon cable. Power off circuit. Push the black plastic clip back (away from the ribbon cable, should move a couple of mm), and carefully pull the ribbon cable from the socket. Check for and clean any cruft from the cable and maybe blow out the socket. Slide the cable back in, as far as it will go, and push the clip back into place.
If that's not it, we'll replace the unit, but give this a shot as it might get you up & running much quicker.

Thanks for the reply. I removed the flexible ribbon connector, carefully wiped it, blew out the connector. Unfortunately, no improvement. I repeated to make sure and no change. I would appreciate a replacement. Thanks.
